A Rising Star in Korean Dining
7th Door received 1 Michelin star in 2021, a year after its opening. Chef Dae-chun Kim uses traditional Korean fermented and aged foods which he matured for 3-10 years or collaborated with masters. Fermentation and aging are added to five flavors, including sweetness, salt, and sourness, and the last seventh is completed with human hands and senses. "7th Door" is a contemporary restaurant that presents creative Korean food under the theme of fermentation and aging.
